Kyle and Carrick

Kyle and Carrick (A' Chùil agus a' Charraig in Scottish Gaelic) was a local government district in the Strathclyde region of Scotland from 1975 to 1996. In 1996 it was constituted as a unitary council area and renamed as South Ayrshire.
