Almost all the inhabitants live in the northern part of Lørenskog. The southern parts consists of forest, while farms and grain field occupy the space in between. In the district an important train station is situated. A very beautiful part of Lørenskog is Losby. This place is known for the waterwheel in Losby, which is represented in the municipalital badge of Lørenskog. Some of Losby is today a Golf course, along with lakes and farms.
