LANageddon

LANageddon (also Lanageddon) is the name of various very large LAN competitions based Calgary, Canada, in which gamers compete against each other in computer games. The word "LANageddon" is a portmanteau of the acronym "LAN" (Local Area Network) and the word "Armageddon" (the apocalypse).
In the Pure Pwnage webisode series, Episode 8 features this competition, where two of the protagonists—Jeremy (teh_pwnerer) and Doug (fps_doug)—compete in its tournament.
