LAV III

The LAV III AV is the latest in General Motors' Light armoured vehicle line. It is the primary mechanized infantry vehicle of the Canadian Armed Forces and New Zealand military. The United States Army uses a very similar, more lightly armed vehicle, the Stryker. It is an 8x8 wheeled armored vehicle with a 25 mm cannon, and can reach speeds of 100 kilometres per hour. The LAV III is C130 transportable.
