LINK Interterminal Shuttle

The LINK Interterminal Shuttle is a bus service connecting Terminals 1, 2 and 3 at Toronto Pearson International Airport in Toronto, Canada. This service will be replaced by a people mover system, as part of the airport's current expansion plans. The people mover system began service on July 6, 2006
Prior to 2003, the shuttle service was operated by contractor Penetang-Midland Coach Lines (PMCL).
Fleet
- 3 Thomas Built Buses SLF 200 series buses

- 2 Doppelmayr APM Cable liner shuttle
- 6 car set
- Ontario Bus Industries Orion I
- Bluebird Transit

Vehicle
The LINK shuttle has 2 train sets, composed of 6 cars each. They were built by DCC Doppelmayr Cable Car GmbH and Company of Wolfurt, Austria. The cars used a drive and tension system. The each train set has capacity for 325 passengers (17 standee, 8 seated) or 2,150 per hour per direction. Travel time is 3.5 minutes one way.
The same cars are currently used in the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada and the Birmingham International Airport, Birmingham England.
Route
Shuttle Train The LINK shuttle route has three stations:
- Terminal 1
- Terminal 3
- Viscount (Long-term parking on Viscount Road)
Shuttle Bus
The buses operate on 3 routes:
- Route 1 - Terminal 1 Arrivals to Terminal 2 Departures - 4 stops
- Route 2 - Terminal 1 Arrivals to Terminal 3 Departures - 3 stops
- Route 1 - Terminal 2 Departure to Terminal 3 Departures - 5 stops
