Lanka Internet Network Group (LKiNG) is the Sri Lankan local committee for [Asia Pacific Network Group].

As its parent organization, LKiNG is also interested in the advancement of networking infrastructure in Sri Lanka, and in the research and development of all associated enabling technologies.

The LKiNG mission is to promote the Internet, coordination of network inter-connectivity and promote collaborate research on Internet and networking.

Objectives

Structure

The LKiNG consists of two main committees as advisory board and main committee. There are sub committees as program committee and university committees in addition to main committee.

Main Committee:

The committee consists of the following officers The chairman is appointed by the advisory committee from the members of the advisory board. The other members of the main committee are selected from the nominated members who would apply for these posts.

Advisory Board

This is consists of professionals related to computer and IT areas. The first advisory board was appointed on invitation and thereafter the members will be appointed by the main committee.

Who can become a LKiNG member?

LKiNG has open membership for any talented Sri Lankan who is interested in Internet and Networking.
