LNER Class B17

The London and North Eastern Railway (LNER) Class B17, also known as "Sandringham" or "Footballer" class was a class of 4-6-0 steam locomotive designed for hauling passenger services on the Great Eastern Main Line.

Several were named after football clubs.

There were six subclasses. The B17/5s, 61659 East Anglian and 61670 City of London were streamlined in the manner of the LNER Class A4s.
