The LRC Squadron.
As part of London Rowing Club, in an initial attempt to form a bond with some members, a formation of various members was created known as the 'Squadron'.
Headed by ACM Muller, the squadron has grown in size and consists of members titled with the initials given to RAF flight squadrons. i.e flight commander, wing commander, ground crew and desk clerk
Partly a social club, they have formed many outings which have made headlines within the rowing fraternity, namely one successful venture known as 'Operation Valentine'...in which an opposing boat club, known as Thames RC was infiltrated by 4 members of the squadron and the female changing rooms were emersed in Valentines Day Cards and Chocolates.
The squadron has seen continued success in the Putney area of London and intends to dominate both on and off the water.
