LaSalle Bank is a US banking group that is a part of LaSalle Bank Corporation. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of ABN AMRO It operates primarily in Illinois, Indiana and Michigan.

LaSalle Bank has its roots as the National Builders Bank of Chicago founded in 1927. It changed its name to LaSalle Bank in 1940 because of the location of its headquarters on LaSalle Street. LaSalle has $69.8 billion in assets and $39.8 billion in deposits (as of 26 November 2005). One of the largest banks in the Midwest and second largest in Chicago, LaSalle Bank serves individuals, small businesses, middle-market companies and institutions with streamlined solutions to meet the scope of customers’ financial needs. LaSalle has more than 140 retail locations and 500 ATMs throughout Chicago and the suburbs. Within the state of Michigan, LaSalle Bank Midwest N.A., based in Troy, Michigan, has over 300 branches and 850 ATM locations.LaSalle Bank maintains commercial banking offices in Atlanta, Boca Raton, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Columbus, Denver, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, New England (covering Connecticut, Boston and New Jersey), Pittsburgh, Des Moines, Rockford, Peoria, St. Louis, Tampa and Miami. Subsidiaries include LaSalle National Leasing Corporation, LaSalle Business Credit, LLC and ABN AMRO Financial Services, Inc.
LaSalle Bank purchased Standard Federal Bank on 1 May 1997 and Michigan National Bank on 2 April 2001. These companies were rebranded as Standard Federal Bank as of 12 September 2002 later to become LaSalle Bank Midwest N.A. LaSalle Bank also purchased Chicago's Exchange National Bank in 1989.

LaSalle Bank Corporation is a subsidiary of Netherlands-based ABN AMRO Bank N.V., one of the world’s largest banks with total assets of EUR 855.7 billion with more than 3,000 locations in over 60 countries.
