La Florida

La Florida (Spanish "flowery") is a populous municipality (comuna) of Chile, located on the eastern part of the province of Santiago in the Santiago Metropolitan Region. It has an area of 70.8 km², a population of 365,674 (2002 census) and an average household income of $24,938 in PPP US dollars (2000).
