Landstuhl is a town and a municipality in the district of Kaiserslautern, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is situated on the north-western edge of the Pfälzer Wald, approx. 10 km west of Kaiserslautern. It is perhaps best known because of the installation of United States military personnel. The Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, a U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM) post, is often the first stop for American casualties leaving the ongoing occupations in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Landstuhl is also the seat of the Verbandsgemeinde ("collective municipality") Landstuhl, which consists of the following Ortsgemeinden ("local municipalities"):
- Bann
- Hauptstuhl
- Kindsbach
- Landstuhl
