Libatius Borage

Libatius Borage, a fictional character in the Harry Potter universe, is the author of Advanced Potion-making, a textbook that plays an important role in the book Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

His name probably derives from libation, a ritual offering of drink to the gods, and Borage, an edible herb believed to bestow excitement and courage in the hearts of those who consumed it.
