Libby Dam

Libby Dam is a dam on the Kootenay River in the U.S. state of Montana. Dedicated on August 24, 1975, it serves as flood control and electric power generation for the Bonneville Power Administration (BPA). The 3055 foot dam impounds the 90-mile long Lake Koocanusa.
