Libon is a 2nd class municipality in the province of Albay, Philippines. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 66,213 people in 12,572 households.
Libon is known regionally as the "Rice Granary of Albay".
[Mayor Agnes "Bem" Perez Dycoco] is the Chief Exectutive Officer of Libon since 2004.
Mr. Domingo "Jun" F. Sazon, Jr. is the Vice Mayor of Libon and presiding officer of the Sangguniang Bayan (Municipal Council) since 2004.
Barangays
Libon is politically subdivided into 47 barangays.
