Life Lynx is software that helps you be prepared in the event of a missing loved one. The software is designed to reside on a USB drive device that you can carry with you at all time. In the event someone in your family goes missing you can plug in the USB drive in to any windows computer and by pressing a button on the software, send the vital information including two photos, to a web page where the authorities can gain access to it. This type of information can take up to 3 hours to gather. The National Center for Missing and Exploted Children NCMEC says that One of the most important tools for law enforcement to use in the case of a missing child is an up-to-date, good-quality photograph. Other companys that provide this type of device is the amberstick, MedicAlert (kid smart) and Safe Kids Card CD ID.
