Lincoln College at 45 Brougham Place, North Adelaide, South Australia is a Uniting Church in Australia residential college affiliated with the University of Adelaide. It was established by the Methodist Church of Australasia in 1952 and is named after the University of Oxford College at which John Wesley was a Fellow. Lincoln College started as a men's college and admitted women in 1973. Currently the college has 240 residents, with about 49% international students. Lincoln College does extremely well academically. It also very technologically advanced under the guidance of Luke Schofield who is also the editor of the weekly newsletter 'the Ibex'. He famously initiated the Food 'Crap-o-Meter' which ensures that the kitchen receives appropriate feedback on the quality of the food.
The British Hotel is Lincoln's local pub, having moved from the Dover when it was made into apartments. Many collegians also frequently visit the Oxford Hotel.
