List of Battlestar Galactica (2004 TV series) episodes
Encyclopedia : L : LI : LIS : List of Battlestar Galactica (2004 TV series) episodes
Battlestar Galactica was initially reimagined as a science fiction miniseries which was first broadcast on the Sci Fi Channel on December 8, 2003. It spawned a regular television series which premiered on Sky One in the UK on October 18, 2004 and on Sci Fi Channel in the U.S. on January 14, 2005. The mini-series and season one have been released on DVD while the DVD for the first ten episodes of the second season is available in the United States. The mini-series and episodes are also available for download on the iTunes service.
This is a complete list of episodes for the reimagined television series of Battlestar Galactica, in original broadcast order. All titles are provided by the studio, however, in keeping with current trends and policies, these titles are not mentioned on screen, and are labled via episode number (1, 2, 3, etc.)
Each episode has a Survivor Count which is the official number of Colonial refugees known within the Galactica fleet. This number is shown at the beginning of each episode during the opening credits. The character President Laura Roslin keeps track of this number on a marker board in her office. The number often decreases as people die; once in a while it increase as children are born or new survivors are discovered. There are also a few discrepancies in the numbers where it doesn't account for the coming and going of about twenty individuals. It also does not count people that survived outside the fleet.
