Originally Broadcast as a two-hour movie with the previous episode. In the disastrous aftermath of the Miss Twin Peaks Contest, Cooper and Truman deduce the location of the entrance to the Black Lodge at Glastonberry Grove. Bobby and Shelly plan for their future, Donna has a devastating confrontation with her parents and Ben Horne in relation to her parentage, Nadine's memory returns much the shock of Ed and Norma, while Pete and Andrew have a rather nasty surprise waiting for them at the Twin Peaks Savings and Loan. In the meantime, Cooper embarks on a fateful and strange journey into the Black Lodge.
