• John F. Kennedy (CV-67) (Enterprise and JFK are single ship classes, the latter sometimes designated an "Improved Kitty Hawk"),

• Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN-69),
• Carl Vinson (CVN-70),
• Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71),
• Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72)

This is expected to remain until 2009, when Kitty Hawk retires and George H. W. Bush (CVN-77) enters the fleet.
