Live-art

Encyclopedia : L : LI : LIV : Live-art

Live-art is a concept believed to have been created by Wolfgang Saddey as a fusion of Fine art and the technology of the internet to bring the normally unseen progression of a fine-art painting to the view of all via a series of photographs of an art work in progress which the artist would upload to a webpage specifically created for the purpose. This new concept can be seen on the website linked here [link]. This has created a view for the first time of a world-class painters' work in progress to be viewed by public, art students from schools and universities and enthusiasts, where the artistic techniques[link], sketches, outlines and progessive stages of development of a fine-art work can be seen as they occur day by day, and a permanent record of the evolution of this style of oil painting , for example, can be made for future reference.
