Liz Beattie

Liz Beattie is an Australian politician. She has been an Australian Labor Party member of the Victorian Legislative Assembly since 1999, representing the electorate of Tullamarine. She serves as parliamentary secretary to the Minister for Education.

Prior to her election to parliament, Beattie was an official at the Australian Services Union. She had been elected as part of a group associated with Lindsay Tanner who had taken over the Federated Clerks Union, which had in turn merged with the ASU.

Her husband Chris Beattie was also an official at the Union.
