Llandaf railway station

Llandaf Railway Station is actually located a couple of miles north of Llandaff City in Llandaff North, a separate village and community on the opposite side of the River Taff which flows down from the Welsh Valleys. It was originally part of the Taff Vale Rail network before its integration into the existing national rail network. Llandaf station now serves Llandaff North and Whitchurch, the adjoining area of a thriving urban area within the boundaries of Cardiff, capital city of Wales.
During Monday-Saturday daytimes, there are usually six trains an hour from Cardiff Central to destinations including Pontypridd, Treherbert, Merthyr Tydfil and Aberdare. Some trains continue beyond Cardiff to Penarth or Barry Island.
