Looking for Richard is a 1996 documentary directed by and starring Al Pacino, both a staging of William Shakespeare's Richard III and a broader examination of Shakespeare's continuing role and relevance in popular culture.

Pacino plays both himself and the title character. The movie guides the audience through the play's plot, with key scenes acted out by Pacino and the cast, which includes Kevin Spacey, Winona Ryder, Alec Baldwin, and Aidan Quinn. Also included is commentary from the actors (as themselves), people Pacino interviews on the street about Shakespeare, Shakespeare scholars, and actors famous for performing Shakespeare, such as Kenneth Branagh, John Gielgud and Vanessa Redgrave.
