Lost and found

Encyclopedia : L : LO : LOS : Lost and found

''This article is about a Christian rock band. For other uses of the term "Lost and Found", please see Lost and Found (disambiguation).
Lost And Found is a Christian rock band from the United States. They are originally from Lewiston, New York, although they have lived in many locations throughout the United States. While happy to wear the title, Lost And Found never sought out to be labeled as a "Christian band."

The style of their music is called speedwood; a genre or subgenre of their own creation, also referred to as acoustic thrash. The band consists of two members. Michael D. Bridges plays guitar and George R. Baum plays piano, recorder, drums, and occasionally the slinky. Bridges and Baum are also the owners of their own independent record label, Limb Records.

Their song "Lions" is one of their most popular, and won the John Lennon Song Writing Contest. Other fan favorites include "Multiply" "Baby," and "Opener."

Lost And Found have been playing since the 1980s. Their first big tour was made cross-country on bicycles with no support vehicle. They rode over 8,000 miles and stayed in over 300 different homes while performing at schools, camps, and churches. They are especially well-known among Lutherans and other denominational youth groups. All of their songs are registered with CCLI enabling any CCLI holder to reproduce their songs in any form.
