Lu Zhiwei

Lu Zhiwei(陆志韦, 6 February, 1894 - 21 November, 1970) was a psychologist and linguist from Wuxing of Zhejiang, China.

He was a professor at Nanjing Higher Normal Institute, now Nanjing University. He served as the president of Yanjing University. He was one of the original developers of Pinyin. He was an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

He received his Ph.D. from the University of Chicago.
