Lufthansa CityLine is a subsidiary airline of Lufthansa Regional, which itself is part of the major airline in Germany, Lufthansa.
History
Ostfriesische Lufttransport (OLT) was founded in 1956 (and still exists today as a separate airline) in Emden. It was renamed DLT Luftverkehrsgesellschaft mbH in 1974 and begins its cooperation with Lufthansa in 1978 with short-range international routes. By 1988, its entire operation is to fly on behalf of Lufthansa. In 1992, it adopts its current name: Lufthansa CityLine.
