Leicester University Student Television (LUST) is the University of Leicester's very own student-run television station. LUST broadcasts over the net, on its own plasma screen and on the Union's SubTV plasma screen network.
LUST produces a regular news program for students along with documentaries. This represents the most serious side of LUST's output. LUST also produces a range of light entertainment shows such as the Capone Show, a chatshow hosted by the station's former Director-General Matt Capon, which is filmed at mad fer-it, a night out at the Students' Union, which also has its own dedicated show, Ferrit Vision, which shows what happens on a night out and often stars resident DJ Tony Large-It and his troupe of dancers known as the Largettes.
LUST also makes a range of dramas and comedies and is currently filming a large number of new productions, including the highly anticpated The Paranormal Society, Sabbs Corridor and Terrace, all of which are part of the homage series which pastiches famous TV shows (The X-Files, The West Wing and House, respectively).
