Luz i madh

Luz I Madh is a part of Kavaje, Albania. Luz I Madh is located at Latitude (DMS): 41° 6' 40 N; Longitude (DMS): 19° 34' 51 E and borders Luz I Vogel, Lekje and Gose.

Its population is almost 4,000 so it is considered a town. Many inhabitants have emigrated to Italy. Luz I Madh is made up of several major families with backgrounds going back hundreds of years, these include the Lecini, Masha and the Desar families. Because of immigration, Luz I Madh has grown more prosperous during the last decade. The effect of this can be seen throughout the town.
