The M'era Luna Festival is one of the most important events of the Dark Culture and Gothic Rock in Europe. It is located and held in Hildesheim, Germany every summer.

The show is held at Flugplatz Hildesheim, a former British Army base, and now commercially run by Lufthansa airlines.

M'era Luna includes camping facilities and has two stages; one, a former aircraft hangar and the other, a large rock festival style structure, erected for the show each year.

Around 20,000 people attend the festival every summer, many flying in via the Hannover airport, with others travelling via road and railway.
