M-186 (Michigan highway)

M-186, is a 2.49 mile-long connector route in the U.S. state of Michigan. The western terminus is at M-113 just west of Fife Lake and the eastern terminus is at US 131 west of downtown Fife Lake.
In the 1930s, M-186 was designated on a 4.3 mile connector route in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan between US 2/US 41 at Rapid River with M-35 near Brampton.
In 1940, when a new road was built from Walton Junction to Fife Lake, M-186 was designated on the road from M-113 to Fife Lake (formerly M-131; and the Walton Jct./Fife Lake road and the rest of M-131 to Petoskey become US 131).
