M-97 (Michigan highway)

M-97 is a state trunkline in Michigan. It runs from Detroit to just north of Mt. Clemens. It starts at M-3 and follows Gunston Avenue, then turns into Hoover Street, follows north until it turns into Groesbeck Highway, just 1 mile near 8 Mile Road. Groesbeck continues mostly North East until Hall Road, then turns into North Street until it crosses the Macomb-Saint Clair county line and ends in the town of Beltine. Alex Groesbeck is one of the namesakes of building highways in Michigan.

The northern terminus of M-97 is at M-59 on the Clinton Township/Macomb Township border north of Mt. Clemens.Southern terminus
