M. Jane Kitchel (1945 - ) -- Democratic member of the Vermont State Senate, representing the Caledonia senate district.
Jane Kitchel was elected to the Vermont State Senate in 2004.
Biography
Kitchel was born in St. Johnsbury, Vermont on August 23, 1945. She grew up on her family's farm in Danville, Vermont. She graduated from Daville High School in 1963. She went on to receive an A.B. degree from Wilson College in 1967.
She is married to Robert Kitchel. The couple has one son.
She continues to reside in Danville.
Public life
Kitchel served as Secretary of the Vermont Agency of Human Services.
She was elected to the Vermont Senate in 2004.
