The Hyde-Inland M2 is a submachine-gun produced for the US Army from 1942 to 1943 as substitute standard by Marlin Firearms. The M2 is chambered for the .45 ACP cartridge and it has 20 or 30 round magazine and its rate of fire is 525 rounds per minute. Only ~ 500 M2s were manufactured and they were never issued by any branches of the United States military.
