MS-21

The MS-21 is a proposed series of three, twin-engined short-medium range, Russian aeroplanes capable of carrying 130-170 passengers. It is being jointly developed by Ilyushin, Tupolev and Yakovlev and could enter service in 2012.
Design
The initial model is planned to have 33% composite materials on launch, increasing to 40-45% if a composite wing is added in 2015. Engines will be Russian made.Similar aircraft
