The ms Zaandam is a passenger cruise ship of Holland America Line, named for the city of Zaandam near Amsterdam. It has a musical theme and is decorated with artifacts and memorabilia from different musical genres. Items such as a Baroque style Dutch pipe organ and guitars signed by the Rolling Stones can be seen. She is the sister ship to the ms Volendam and with ms Rotterdam and ms Amsterdam completed the 'R-Class' vessels.

The ms Zaandam was christened by the Olsen twins. Features of the ship include the Mondrian Lounge where passengers volunteer to perform in a play during the course of the cruise. 10 floors are listed in the elevators, including the A and B deck for employees and maintenance. The first floor is the Dolphin Deck, and the fourth floor is named the Promenade deck.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have sailed on the MS Zaandam.
