Mahadevpur is a mandal which is 110 kilometers from karimnagar district head quarters and 100 kilometers away from warangal district headquarters. Kaleshwaram having a famous temple called by "kaleshwara muktheshwara swamy" located on the bank of river Godaveri.Mahadevpur is the border of Andhra Pradesh linking Maharastra.River Godaveri divides Andhra Pradesh and Maharastra.It has a vast Forest land.It is also called extrimets area because there is unemployment in this area.There is no proper development due to this reason mainly.According to 2001 survey mahadevpur has a land area of 354.60(area in sq.km),it has 49 villages in which 37 are inhabited and 17 are un-inhabited,it has a total population of 35,319.It has a vast agriculture land.
