The Main Street District of downtown Dallas, Texas (USA) runs along Main Street, an east-west street running from its split with Commerce street under the triple-overpass to Carroll Avenue, where it becomes Columbia Avenue, in east Dallas. The portion considered the Main Street District is between Lamar Street and the US 75/I-45 (I-345) elevated highway.

About

Main Street was the first area to really pick up steam within downtown Dallas in terms of urban revival; plenty of grand historic buildings that had been neglected were available for conversion and renovation. Main Street's main feature is Pegasus Plaza, an urban enclave bounded by the Magnolia Hotel, the Iron Cactus Restaurant, Jeroboam Restaurant, and The Kirby Building.
