Mainline Publications was a very short-lived comic book publisher established and owned by Jack Kirby and Joe Simon. They established the company in 1953, and it went under by late 1954. This was due to the impact the recent Senate hearings on comic books caused within the industry. Mainline's distributor, Leader News, went under, taking the company down with it. The unpublished materials for their titles was then sold off to Charlton Comics who published it, and continued the titles to a degree under new names.

With the demise of Mainline, the long-standing partnership between Simon and Kirby also ended, although they would collaborate on a few more comics.
