Majles Al-Ummah

The Majles Al-Ummah (Council of the Ummah) is the Legislative part of government in the Islamic country of Kuwait. In the Majles Al-Ummah, representatives elected by the Ummah examine the Khaleefah's interpretation of the application of Islam as well as informing the Khaleefah of the affairs of the Ummah.
Majlis al-Ummah can exist in two different systems, central or provincial.
