The Malaysian Electronic Payment System, commonly known as MEPS, is the only interbank network in Malaysia, counting among its members almost every single major bank in the country. At present, there are 4,300 MEPS ATMs nationwide.

A MEPS ATM card is called a "Bankcard" by its members and by the network itself. The term was used to refer to newly-implemented smart cards, but now refers to all MEPS cards. However, the term is also used for the EFTPOS network available to all MEPS cardholders. For small transactions, another network, MEPS Cash, is used.

The network is owned by Malaysian Electronic Payment System Berhad, which works in tandem with Bankcard Malaysia to provide EFTPOS services.
