Manefish

Manefishes are perciform fishes in the family Caristiidae. They are deep-sea marine fishes that eat siphonophores.
Species
There are five species in two genera.- Genus Caristius
- * Caristius groenlandicus Jensen, 1941.
- * Caristius japonicus Gill & Smith, 1905.
- * Caristius macropus (Bellotti, 1903).
- * Caristius maderensis Maul, 1949.
- Genus Platyberyx
- * Platyberyx opalescens Zugmayer, 1911.
