- Another Margaret of Valois (5 June 1523 - 14 September 1574) (Marguerite de Valois) was the sister of Henry II of France, the daughter of Francois I of France. She married Emmanuel Philibert, the duke of Savoy, as part of a treaty between the duke, her brother, and the king of Spain. Her niece, Elisabeth of Valois (Isabella of Valois) married Philip II of Spain. Margaret survived her husband with three daughters.
