Maria Stepanova

Maria Stepanova (born February 23, 1979) is a Russian professional and Olympic female basketball player. In the United States, she plays for the Phoenix Mercury in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA).
At a height of six foot eight inches, she is the second-tallest player in the league (along with Katie Feenstra and Lindsay Taylor). Only Margo Dydek, at 7' 2", is taller.
Stepanova was born in the Village Shpakovskoe, and grew up in Tosno.
