Marie of Saxe-Altenburg

Princess Marie of Saxe-Altenburg (April 14 1818-January 9 1907), later Queen of Hanover, was the consort of George V of Hanover, a male-line grandson of King George III of the United Kingdom and Queen Charlotte.

Marie was born at Hildburghaussen, the eldest daughter of Josef, Duke of Saxe-Altenburg and Amelia of Wurttemburg.Marriage
