Marin Faliero is a tragedia lirica or tragic opera in three acts by Gaetano Donizetti (1835) from a libretto by Giovanni Emanuele Bidéra, after the tragedy by Casimir Delavigne. It is inspired by Lord Byron's drama Marino Faliero (1820) and based on the life of Marino Faliero (c.1285-1355), the Venetian Doge.

The action takes place in Venice in 1355.

It received its first performance on 12th March 1835 at the Théâtre Italien, Paris and its Italian premiere the following year at the Teatro Alfieri, Florence.
