Mark Hunter (born November 12, 1962 in Petrolia, Ontario) is a retired former NHL ice hockey player.
He played for the Montreal Canadiens, St. Louis Blues, Calgary Flames, Hartford Whalers and Washington Capitals over the course of his professional career, after having been drafted from the Brantford Alexanders. He won a Stanley Cup with the Flames in 1989.
After his retirement, he coached several teams including the Sarnia Sting and the St. John's Maple Leafs, and is currently co-owner and General Manager of the London Knights OHL hockey team.
On January 1, 2006, Mark and his brother, fellow former NHLer Dale Hunter, as co-owners of the London Knights, were named to the 2006 Mayor's New Year's Honours List for Sports by the City of London, Ontario. His older brother Dave Hunter is also a former NHLer.
