Markus Winkelhock

Markus Winkelhock (born June 13, 1980) is a German auto racing driver and the son of the late Manfred Winkelhock and thus a nephew of Joachim Winkelhock.

In 2000, Winkelhock emerged as a frontrunner in the German Formula 3 Championship.

In 2004, he started in the German DTM in an AMG-Mercedes CLK.

In the 2005 season, Winkelhock raced in the World Series by Renault.

On the 24th of January 2006, Marcus Winkelhock was confirmed as 3rd driver in the Midland F1 team, (formerly Jordan Grand Prix) for the 2006 Formula 1 season. [link]
