MLP AG (formerly Marschollek, Lautenschläger und Partner AG) is a German corporation providing financial services, especially private finance advisory.

MLP focuses on providing financial services consulting in the fields of pension provision, asset management and risk management to an upscale group of university graduates and wealthy clients.

Structure

The MLP Group comprises a financial services and brokerage business (MLP Finanzdienstleistungen AG), a bank with an asset management department (MLP Bank AG), a life insurance company (MLP Lebensversicherungen AG) and a non-life insurance provider (MLP Versicherungen AG).

MLP has around 640,000 clients, served by about 2,500 independent consultants and 1,800 other employees as of 2004.

History

Founded 1971 in Heidelberg, Germany, MLP has been expanding internationally and is represented

in Austria since 1995,
in Switzerland since 1998,
in the Netherlands since 2000,
in Great Britain since 2001,
in Spain since 2002.

From 2001 to 2003, MLP has been represented in the DAX as one of the 30 biggest publicly traded companies in Germany. Since 2003, it is again part of the MDAX midcap index.
