Mathers Bridge

Mathers Bridge is located on the southern tip of Merritt Island, Florida at the end of Florida State Road 3/County Route 3. The bridge was built in 1927 by John Mathers to connect Merritt Island to what is now Indian Harbour Beach. It is a 700 feet long (200 meters) low level swing span drawbridge. The bridge and the control house were rehabilitated in 2005.
