Mathieu Garon

Mathieu Garon (born January 9, 1978 in Chandler, Quebec) is a Canadian ice hockey goaltender.
Mathieu currently plays for the Los Angeles Kings in the National Hockey League. He previously played for the Montreal Canadiens who drafted him in the 1996 NHL Entry Draft with pick number 44. In the QMJHL, he played for the Victoriaville Tigres. In the AHL, he has played for the Fredericton Canadiens, Quebec Citadelles, Hamilton Bulldogs, and Manchester Monarchs.
Garon was traded to the Los Angeles Kings along with a 3rd round pick in 2004 (Paul Baier) against Radek Bonk and Cristobal Huet. He is currently the King's starting goaltender.
